Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Brand on Fire LLC, operating as Gaucho Plugins (“we,” “us,” “our”), collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit gauchoplugins.com or our product websites, purchase our products, or use our services.

1. Information we collect

  • Purchase information: name, email address, billing address, and transaction details when you buy a product. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processors (Stripe, Inc. and/or Freemius, Inc.) — full card numbers never touch our servers.
  • Account and license information: email address, license keys, and the site URLs where licenses are activated (used for license validation and update delivery).
  • Support communications: messages you send to our support email, and any information you include in them.
  • Usage and analytics data: standard web analytics (pages visited, referrer, approximate location from IP, device/browser type) collected via Google Analytics and server logs.
  • Agent-assisted purchases: if you complete a purchase through an AI agent platform (for example, agentic checkout), we receive your name, email, and a tokenized payment credential from that platform — never your raw card details.

2. How we use your information

  • To process orders, deliver license keys, and provide plugin updates.
  • To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
  • To send transactional emails (receipts, license delivery, renewal reminders).
  • To detect and prevent fraud, and to comply with legal obligations including tax requirements.
  • To improve our products and websites through aggregated analytics.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not send marketing email without your consent, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

3. Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. (Stripe Privacy Policy) and, for some products, Freemius, Inc. (Freemius Privacy Policy). These processors handle your payment data under their own privacy policies and PCI-DSS compliance programs.

4. Sharing your information

We share personal information only with service providers necessary to operate our business: payment processors (Stripe, Freemius), email delivery providers, hosting providers (Cloudways/DigitalOcean), and analytics providers (Google). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service. We may also disclose information when required by law.

5. Cookies

Our websites use cookies for essential site functionality, analytics, and (on checkout pages) fraud prevention by our payment processors. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break checkout functionality.

6. Data retention

We retain order and license records for as long as your license is active and thereafter as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes (typically 7 years for transaction records). Support emails are retained for up to 3 years. You may request deletion of data we are not legally required to keep.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise any of these rights, email support@gauchoplugins.com. We will respond within 30 days. EU/UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority.

8. International transfers

We are based in the United States and process data there. Where data is transferred from the EU/UK, our processors rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Security

We use HTTPS across all sites, restrict access to personal data, and rely on PCI-compliant processors for all payment handling. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take commercially reasonable measures to protect your data.

10. Children’s privacy

Our products and websites are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
